Delete your Laraib account
Laraib: Hifz tracker and madrasa manager, by Short Budgets
In the app
This is the quickest way, and it takes effect at once.
- Open Laraib and tap More.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
If you might want your Hifz record again, save a backup file first. Deleting cannot be undone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email razakatihari@gmail.com and include the email address your account uses. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days and write back when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address, password hash, name, account type, madrasa name and your codes.
- A student's whole Hifz record, for the student and for their teacher and parents.
- For a teacher, the students they created who never signed in themselves, and the teacher's links to every student and institution.
- Your Premium, payment requests, invites and points.
- When you delete from inside the app, the copy of your account kept on that phone.
What is not deleted, and why
- Students who signed in with their own account keep their records when their teacher deletes theirs.
- An institution you run, with its name and city, stays for its other teachers and students. Write to us if the whole institution should be closed.
- Backup files you saved yourself. They are yours and we cannot reach them; delete them wherever you put them.
- Google Play's own record of a subscription purchase, which Google keeps under its policies. Cancel a Play subscription in the Play Store app.
We keep nothing else about you after your account is deleted.
